  1. This charger will be slow. I personally use a 20A charger, but I’m charging a 50AH and 100AH.

You can get smth like noco genius10, just don’t get the genius1. It will take a week to charge

  3. Basically you can just do the math on what is acceptable charging time to you. This 3Amp charger would take 16.6 hours to charge a 50Amp Hour battery.

I would personally say you should probably be looking at 10 amp chargers at least or maybe 15 or 20 depending on how big of a battery you are getting. You may want a 100Ah battery or bigger.

  4. I would suggest a 5 amp charger at a minimum for a 50AH, but 10 amp would be recommended. You might be able to go 20 amp charger, but you would need to check your battery and see if it will even allow itself to be charged at 20 amps. 5 amps may even be too low so you would need to check the battery specs again.

If you drained a battery completely that 3 amp charger would take 16-17 hours to charge it. 5 amp would take 10 hour and 10 amp would take 5 hours

Yes that will work but after two of the cheaper ones crapping out on me I finally got a noco genius and it works fine. I have the 5, takes about 24 hours or more to charge 50ah from dead, $50ish I think

  6. Check what amperage the battery recommends and get one that matches. Dont go cheap and get a low amp charger, some batteries wont even recognize the charger if the amperage is too low, and some wont charge if the amperage is too high.
