Today I experimented with my BFS setup that I use for lure fishing. The reel is a micro monster paired with a Handing magic 7'2" casting rod. I loaded the spool with 4 lb mono and tied on a hair rig with some sweet corn. Turns out to make a pretty dang good carp rod for creek fishing, its a very strong rod
air temp – 74°F
water temp – 50~°F
water conditions – slightly silty,
All were caught fishing a margin of the creek where it goes from 6 ft to roughly 3 ft, they seemed to be stacked up thick on that transition depth

Why do you have a handgun while fishing?!
