In my limited amount of microfishing, I’ve only ever landed creek chubs. This one is the first new species, and I’m thinking it’s some variety of shiner. Any ideas as to which kind, more specifically? It’s about 4 inches long.

This is a Striped Shiner. The body scales lead to a Luxilus species, and then the nape scales behind the head being uniform in shape/size lead to Striped Shiner here in Indiana
