Mounted mine in exact spot on my perception and no problems so far, just gotta be careful not to snag transducer when sliding it in and out of a truck bed

What kind of clearance are you asking about? That’s not a sidescan transducer, you don’t need any side-to-side clearance. It’s good to go.
