I’d like to get mine up and away from the gunnel (away from splashing, out of the way when fighting fish, inline with direction of travel, etc.). Right now leaning towards the Steady Stick offering (photo above); pricey but willing to buy once, cry once if it’s the best solution. Also considering Navarre’s (less expensive) PDL drive track mount alternative, but the Steady Stick version looks a bit more solid and doesn’t potentially undermine the seal to the drive by replacing the stock cap with a third-party part that then has to bear a load.
Interested in hearing others’ experiences with either of the above or alternatives.
