Ended up getting a Jackson Yupik off Facebook marketplace, was able to load it up myself onto the Jeep and secure it on some Yakima Kayak saddle mounts. Got out on the river in Wimberley Texas, and had one of the best days of my life with the dog.
Thanks to the people that answered my questions about equipment, etc. Excited to get into a new hobby.
