Started the session with classic spring carp fishing tactics – PVA Bags – but not very successful. I then decided to switch up to my feeder rod. The method feeder worked crazy good that day – good tactic in the spring, fishing in the shallows along any vegetation (reed beds, trees, etc.)

I used size 12 hooks, 4mm bright wafter, and a nice pellet and fishmeal mix on the method, with bird-food ground bait as well.

My advice in spring is:
1. Find the fish
2. Maintain the fish o the back – feed them
3. Enjoy
Bonus: Feed them loads, but carefully, so the fish do not turn away after.

Wish you all good fishing!
