The JM reels look like a Daiwa Legalis or Fuego with the Airbail. Are they a lower quality Daiwa build of some sort? Are the rods any good? I’m considering one of their combos like this https://www.basspro.com/p/bass-pro-shops-johnny-morris-carbonlite-spinning-pre-mount-combo

Daiwa makes the reels, not sure about the rods.
The reels are a Daiwa Legalis LT with an additional bearing in the handle or something like that. I’ve used the Daiwa Legalis and they are good reels so the JM should be too.
Haven’t used the rods so I can’t help there.
