I’m using AI for many things these days.
Today? Why the hell are so many damn fish splashing near the surface around me other than that they’re taunting me? A dang slew of fish have been steadily tormenting me over the course of a few weeks… I’ll sit on the bank for an hour while they take turns jumping out of the water all around me at the rate of 1 every 5-15 seconds. Nothing I throw at them works. I’m not saying fish collude….
So I hop on ChatGPT on my cell, share my location, the conditions, take a picture of my tacklebox and ask it what lure I should use.
It comes back with a lure and how to fish it.
And very shortly thereafter, I pulled in a white bass. Apparently, at 2.86lbs, he’s chonky.
(More importantly, I snagged another little guy and before I let him go, I gave him strict instructions to tell his friends what happens if they keep heckling me.)
Bald eagles overhead, a setting sun and the beauty of God’s creation…. and a new fishing tool.
