Empty kayak only, there aren’t meant to haul anything else besides it. Bring it to the water, then rig up your kayak.

I just bought a kayak and it has these mounted on it. The seller had installed reinforcements inside under the mounting brackets to beef up the attachment points because it is known to crack there. He made sure to explain to me to never store it on these wheels and to always use stands. The wheels are for transport only.

They weigh almost nothing, I doubt you even notice. EXCEPT – they do catch a little wind.
