I’ve been saving up for a fishing kayak after picking up bass fishing in the last year or so, but really getting serious about it the last few months. A kayak without pedals really wasn’t an option for me, but they were so expensive but today I bought this guy for $500 and it came with the trailer.
I know it’s missing a drain plug, but what accessories would you guys recommend first and what am I missing? I plan on selling the trailer as I’m not going to need it because of the lake is literally in my backyard. This is my first post in the sub Reddit but I’ve been lurking jealously for months at other people‘s kayaks😂 what would you say I could get for the trailer if I sold it thanks again in advance

I’d keep the trailer if you have a place for it, never know when you might want to take it out of town. You may only get a couple hundred for it.
As for accessories, I would get a Yakattack box with some rod holders. They have tethers so if you flip you don’t lose your rods. And then invest in those retractable key chain things to keep small tools like pliers or lip grippers attached to you or your boat. Congrats on the kayak!
Nice. If you’re not in a hurry to sell the trailer, I wouldn’t be surprised if you found someone willing to give you $500 just for it. Certainly $400. I gave up looking for a kayak specific trailer and just bought a 10 foot utility trailer instead. But someone will want it.
