I have to say, this one really kinda spooked me as a beginning Florida kayak fisher. So far I've done mostly springs and inshore. I was going to do a larger lake in the coming weeks and this kind of sucks. Pretty new to both aspects of the hobby. I don't to be the bait!

It is probably mid mating season in Florida so just he careful where you are. But the article is kind of unclear. Did she fall in and drown? An actual attack? It just says she went into the water and then wasn’t found again until her body was recovered.
