I have a 96lb fishing kayak. I currently put it in my roof rack, but getting it up/down from my car is the only part of kayak fishing I don’t enjoy.
I’m thinking of getting a kayak trailer similar to the one in the picture. I will store it in my two car garage (taking up half my garage).
I will need to buy and install a hitch on my car and buy the trailer. This will cost around $3000 CAD. Wondering if anyone has experience with this and can let me know if the convenience of transporting the kayak is worth the cost. Thanks!

For sure 96lbs is too much to car top for my liking
Can you do a hitch and bed extender?
Getting a trailer changed our kayaking lives. So much easier to store them on the trailer. So much easier when, after a long day on the water — we just back the trailer into its spot, no struggling to unload two big fishing kayaks from the pickup bed and carry them to storage. Ditto for the reverse.
My kayak is about 90lb and it made life so much easier, stays on the trailer so I just hook up and go
