I’m looking to upgrade the bearings, handle (preferably a longer power handle), star drag, and drag washers to handle big swimbaits. I believe it shares the same platform as the 5000C or 5500 series, but I’m not sure what exact sizes or parts will fit. If anyone has experience modding these reels or has part recommendations (like Carbontex washers, Gomexus handles, or spool bearings), I’d appreciate any advice—trying to stay within a $100 budget but flexible if it’s worth it.
