Considering moving to either Charleston or Wilmington, but having a really hard time deciding. Looking for some outside opinions.
My absolute favorite hobby is fly fishing. I have flats skiff already that I tow with me to different areas and take out as often as I can.
Gf and I are both 30(ish) but are long distance and looking to move together. She already lives in Charleston, so we're trying to decide if I should move to Charleston or we both move to Wilmington.
We both think we like Charleston better in terms of food scene and things to do, but Wilmington is better in terms of cost of living and housing. I am a dentist and have a fantastic job opportunity in Wilmington and a good opportunity in Charleston but would definitely prefer the Wilmington job.
My goal would be able to live in a place where I can get off work and just go out on the water as often as I can. And get involved with a community that likes doing similar things.
Anybody with any insight into either of these cities would be greatly appreciated!
