Hi everyone! I'm needing help deciding on what rod to use for my Saragosa 6000. I will be fishing the Texas Gulf Coast for a variety of fish but mainly Redfish. Would like something that works well for inshore and have the flexibility to cast live bait & lures.
I'm thinking the St. Croix Avid Inshore 7'11 Heavy Moderate Fast. Do y'all think it will be a good fit?
*I already have a 10Ft MH rod with a Penn Battle 5000 for surf and jetty fishing in my setup.
