Thule Dockgrip owners, do your saddles pivot on this point while driving?

Bought one second hand and while driving unloaded, these saddles will pivot occasionally around the yellow while cornering.
Thule support says the saddle lock is not in place but there is no such thing on this (the gray button on the side to adjust the saddle position is not what I’m referring to), I even checked the manual and multiple videos online, they all show this free floating design.
Does anyone else have these carriers and also have the same issue? Absolutely baffling design decision if it’s intended.

Haven’t noticed any movement with mine, kayak is about 70lbs (pelican catch 120) and I tie it down with husky ratchet straps.
They’ve been really solid for me. They CAN move but I think the yak and tie down prevent.
