Looking to get one of these 2 Fishing kayaks. Initially i was really Set on the Manta due to Stability and how wide it was. However I read on another thread that it would be difficult to Paddle and i would Quickly not like that aspect it. Pelican catch mode being slightly narrower and about 20LB lighter. In the past I’ve had a Pelican Sentinel Angler (10’) that did not really have Stand up ability and i didn’t always feel super Stable on it. Not enough to reach my Front or Rear Storage areas anyway. Ive read good reviews about both But would really appreciate other’s input on both of them. For reference I’m 6’3 240LB so space is nice to have. Transport would be mostly Car topping it and while i don’t currently have a trolling motor it would be nice to get that in the near future but totally ok with Paddling. Would be Mainly used on Lakes. I live in the PNW so it can definitely be Windy from time to time. Manta is 650$ Plus shipping Catch mode is about 700$ With a local pick up option.

Catch mode is already set up for a trolling motor in the back.
