My rudder cable is slipping on the steering knob. It's rigged right now with a led weight from the previous owner but I'm not sure what the actual parts are to keep the cable from slipping. Anyone have an idea or dealt with this? I have 0 control over my rudder right now.

It looks like the lead was supposed to be molded right to the cable and fit into the slot. If the cable has come free of the lead, you might have to mechanically fasten it to the rotating part with a screw. Or you might be able to epoxy the cable to the lead?
