Got early access to a soft lure injection tool – and yep, that ugly flying fish mold was mine. 😅
So I recently got into the beta for this soft lure-making tool that works with 3D-printed molds. If anyone’s interested, I can share more details as I keep testing it.
From what I’ve seen so far, it’s actually pretty solid. The tool is desktop-sized and lets you melt, inject, and mold soft plastic like a mini factory. And yes—that really awkward flying fish mold in their demo? That was me. Ahhhh. 😭
Anyway, I’ve been testing their beta version and I’m pretty happy with the speed. Took about 15–20 minutes from loading material to finishing a batch of 18 single-color 2.9" curly tail grubs. Not bad for a desktop setup.
If anyone has questions or wants to see how it works with printed molds (PLA&PETG works fine), let me know. Happy to post pics or vids later!
