Bought some small tracks and a paddle holder for my Pelican intrepid 100x, the issue is I don’t have any good flat spots to mount the tracks, and with as tight of a fit as these paddle holders are I’m concerned if I tried to install the tracks and use the paddle holders I’d damage the kayak (screws will probably strip out). Any recommendations for this situation? Just have the paddle tethered and deal with it?

Install the tracks with a backing plate behind them for added stability – this is even easier to do since you have a sit-inside. Likewise you can use a simple taco-style paddle holder since you have easy access to secure it from the inside.
