The lake we're talking about its this one in the photo. Im getting into carpfishing and i wanted to know some things. I recently discovered this lake near my house with bass and carps and that made me wonder if i could catch some carps. Some people told me to use natural baits for wild carps but, what would you guys recommend to use as bait to catch some decent fish? I have some strawberry boilies and some groundbait but i guess those will not work. Also i need tips on casting cuz today I went to the lake and on my 5th cast my line snapped and i lost the rig. That probably because my equipment isnt for carps but rn i dont really have money to spend on some rods and reels. My rod is a Tubertini Seaway and the reel is a Okuma SOLARIS C 4000 and some people already told me that these cant be used except for the reel. Sorry if im mixing lots of topics together but im just really confused.

  1. i use fake rubber corn and put them on a hair rig, sometimes i’ll use a packbait coil feeder with simple oats and corn, some people use real corn on the hair where panfish aren’t a nuisance.
