Hello! To start I know nothing about fishing let alone kayak fishing.
I am wanting to get a fishing pole that I can have a lure in the water while out exploring with my wife. My kayak already has rod holders just never used the and am interested in trying now.
I am in northern DFW (Texas) and will mainly be in river / creeks.
I don’t really know what else to mention cause I do not know what’s relevant.
Basically if I’m just getting started what kinda pole should I get and what lure? I’m not looking to be a guy with a crazy setup and 100 things in a bait box i just want to randomly catch a fish.
