I just got a new Okuma ceymar 1000 ODT (my first Okuma reel) today, and I noticed a clicking when reeling. When held horizontal-ish, it’s fine, but after roughly 20 degrees of angle up or down, it starts to click. It clicks every other handle rotation in about the same spot as far as I can tell. It’s both audible and I can slightly feel it in the rod. It does not click when the spool is removed.

It’s not terrible, but it’s slightly annoying. Mostly I’m worried about premature pets wear if something is making contact in a way it shouldn’t.

Is this normal? Does it just need to be broken in? I just want to check before I waste a spoil of braid if I end up having to return it.

Here’s a video (sound on): https://imgur.com/a/AbvDQTa

Tia for any input
