If you look at the reel you’ll see that it’s upright like it’s supposed to be, but the part that goes into the reel seat is offset to the right. Does anyone know what could have caused this? Factory defect? Supposed to be like that? It’s a workhorse reel and I feel that there’s no way it somehow bent. I’m only using 20-30 lb braid and have the reel paired with an 11 foot okuma cedros. I use it for striped bass fishing and feel that I definitely don’t exceed what this reel is capable of. Thanks in advance!

Any rubbing plastic or grinding when retrieving?
That is 100% bent. Wether you remember doing it or not that’s definitely external force. If it still works smooth, I would ignore it. Wouldn’t suggest trying to bend it back as that might break it enough to stop working.
