Probably going to redo this with hardwood at a later date but I rebuilt my Sportspal 12 ft canoe for solo usage. The seat is reversible if I want to bring someone along.
I picked this canoe over actual fishing kayaks mostly for its weight, which makes it very easy to carry over short distances and to get up on a car roof, it's only about 38 lbs even after the conversion.
Also added an Anchor Wizard, that thing is completely awesome. As well as 4 rod holders. I'm going to add two more but I have to figure out exactly where I want them to be.
I got a livescope I'm going to add, but I haven't gotten around to doing it yet.
The seat itself is just a cheap boat seat. But it's comfortable enough to sit in for hours while I'm fishing.

Sweet. I am in the middle if fitting mine as well. Just ordered EVA decking myself. How did it go? Looks great
