Update: I posted a mount I made for pelican catch 100 a couple weeks ago and was given solid feedback. First pic is the original frame I made with some aluminum and a 2×4. It probably would have gotten the job done but it needed a little more stability. I ended up buying a legit transom mount off amazon for like 50 bucks but unfortunately it didn’t fit so I made a new frame out of the aluminum. It may look a bit sloppy in some spots but it’s sturdy. Instead of using rivets I used self driving steel screws for the aluminum angles (Game changer) If anyone has advice or suggestions please feel free. My next project will be a pulley to lift the motor out of the water and eventually a steering system instead of the extended tiller handle I have now.
