How are y’all managing your pole? I stick mine through the drive well but it’s kinda annoying having to take the drive out every time I wanna hold still.

Don’t use one myself, but have heard of folks planting outside of their yak, then using a tether, or putting through a scupper hole.

I put a paddle holder on a rail and it holds my pole. Works pretty good. Ill also slide it under the bungies over my front hatch, but I try to use the paddle holder since it gets pretty muddy.
When I use it I have a rope loop I attach to a carabineer on my anchor trolley so I can move it to the bow or stern depending on the situation.

I just tether it to my kayak with some rope.

I got the track mounted holder thing from Yak Gadget. It has paddle style holders to hold when not in used as well as a hole to slide the pole through when you wanna park. Pretty handy, would recommend. There’s other items from other sellers that do similar things if you wanna look around.

Ten foot of paracord tied to a cleat.
