1. Would this be a good combo for lures in the surf 2. What lures would yall recommend?

I get to surf fish a couple times a year but I’ve always just used various bait rigs. I want to throw some lures around and see what else I can catch. Thinking about using 20lb braid with a mono leader. Input on anything I’ve said will be appreciated.
