First time out, I think I’m hooked

I’ve been bank fishing for about 4 months, but I’m coming off of a 9 year fishing hiatus. I mostly trolled and boat fished Lake Erie for Walleye/Perch all my youth/teenage years. Been absolutely loving bank fishing over the last few months, but decided to get a kayak and go out to one of my spots. I’m hooked. I’m obsessed. It was such a blast going out at sunrise and just dropping lines. I only hooked 4 bass, only one of with being actually worth a photo… But man, what a time. The process of prepping my kayak the night before and strapping it to the car gave me nostalgia of helping my grandpa get the boat ready the night before going to the marina. I’m so excited to see where this takes me and the fish I catch!
