My little girls first bass and she was absolutely stoked for it. Easily the longest time she's fished without getting bored and wanting to quit. Before you asked, I threw a white Choppo (see whopper plopper) on her line and she did everything but take the hooks out. She had a much bigger fish on a crank bait later but didn't set the hook so it slipped off and she learned a lesson. Overall she went from 5 foot casts to respectable distance and by the end I felt like my risk of catching a treble to the face had drastically reduced as well.
I'm just so stoked on all of this that I wanted to share with you guys.
