Alternatively I would like to get the carp line 500 for they sell me the 1000m reel which is not too much for me. I wanted to ask if anyone had ever tried it

I used the exact same line, in 0.35 size. Caught big carp and catfish with it (10+ kg). It’s good and cheap, I recommend 1000m just in case you have multiple reels.
