New to Bass fishing this is what I’ve picked up but is there anything else y’all wish you had known about or had earlier on? Or any Bass fishing tips? Thanks in advance!

Don’t be afraid of casting into snaggy areas like fallen trees. That is structure that bass like to hide in. Tie a leader. Braid is not that abbrasive resistant so it will tear up when say, rubbed against rocks .
If you are fishing from shore, most of your fish will be within 20ft of said shoreline. Low light means more active fish.
When fishing a Texas rig, use as light of a weight as possible. Hopefully this helps

When you buy a lure, consider it already lost. Of course try to get it back, but it softens the blow of losing stuff along the way. Cause it will happen, often.

Pike like to hit bass lures too. If there are any in the water where you fish, watch a video on how to hold one.
