Just picked up an Exceler 2500 for a good price. Was looking for a rod to pair up well, I was looking at a Spinner Tatula XT online. Almost pulled the trigger on it, just had a question regarding the ‘handle type’ on Tackle Warehouse’s website. Just wondering if that’s correlated to anything other than the handle length, just to accommodate for bigger reel sizes. Would a med or med-heavy be compatible with a 2500?

It’s universal. Handle lengths has nothing to do with the reel seat. Hope this helps you and good luck with your new combo🔥
