Im new to fishing and my uncle came to my house and said I can have these rods. Here are the reel names and rods

Penn Clash I 5000
Rod:
Penn Squadron II
Ugly Stik Big Water or Shakespeare
Are these good rods to use?

A little heavy for bass and over kill for trout but would excel as catfish rods. Perfect for inshore saltwater
