Hey everyone — beginner angler here, been fishing for about a year now.
Living in Las Vegas definitely adds a layer of difficulty with the crazy weather and limited access to gear that seems way more available in Europe and other places. But honestly, that’s part of what makes it fun and rewarding.
I know I might catch some flak for how I handled the carp in this post — and yeah, that’s on me. I didn’t do enough research early on, but I’m learning as I go. Already planning to upgrade my gear and do things the right way to make it safer for both the fish and myself. Appreciate any tips you’ve got, and thanks for understanding!
