Got about 25 of these hooks and I don't remember where they came fromn but they're super small and the package doesn't show a size, theyre less than half the size of my salmon egg hooks.

It wouldn't be so bad if it had an eye i could thread through but theres nothing except the jutted ends.

  1. It’s not hard at all even with a small hook. Just try it. I do it for madai fishing and the hooks are size 8/9. Very small. Looks about the same.

    Maybe a video with a small hook would be better. I think that video uses a large one for visibility purposes. With a small hook, you just pinch the end between your fingers with the line. You can tie it in 15 seconds once you get used to it.

  2. There is another version that I know, which isn’t as strong, but it’s good too I guess. It may work better on incredibly tiny hooks.

    But if your hook is as big as a nickel or larger, then I think go with the one in the video.
