first baitcaster i've ever owned or tried, Lews TP2 paired with an 6ft Medium Heavy Ugly Stik GX2, took me a couple weeks to get it fully dialed in, was running 0 mag brake for a while and was loving it but realized at night or in wind the brake is very beneficial and doesn't affect cast distance at all, i'm now able to cast into wind further than my old shimano spinning reel and my backlashes are once in a blue moon usually during big weight differences in bait switches or night but the brake adjustments have lowered night time back lashes by 99%, very excited for my next combo but will be daily driving this one for years to come
