First bait caster

I got my first bait caster this week, i went with the Lews Tp2 medium heavy and the lews Tournament MP. Some trial and error in the back yard setting up and casting with a couple different lures, I can’t wait to hit the lake this weekend.

Idk about everyone else but me personally if I’m using neon green line imma use leader but that’s just me.

Aquariums: Independent pet shop told me two days ago to do a 50% water change as ammonia and PH were high. They were happy to sell me fish (I didn’t, as I don’t want unhappy fish and read ammonia is a no). Did the change 2 days ago, and tested at home today. What’s next?

Betta Fish: Bean is finally in his 5g tank after a long recovery from having no fins!

absolute tank of a Sargo…weighed just under 4 pounds….caught on shrimp…just next to the piling in the surf area….the nibbles felt like a perch…then I set the hook and just felt dead weight.
