I’m kinda new to fishing but I’ve really been enjoying it so I did some research and put together this wishlist. All together the price is around 800. Valid?

I would go with j braid instead of whatever Kast king line that is

Pretty good. Only thing is I’d change the curado size to 151. 71 is a bit small for 40lbs braid. Also look on marketplace. I buy like 80% of my rods off marketplace and always pay about half price

If possible go to the store and feel out the rods and reels before you buy. Everyone likes different feeling rods. For example, I really don’t like the feel of the fury and would rather go with an intenza, SLX or Tatula for that price range. Plenty of people do like them though
