I’m in Japan for a vacation and I’m in the market for a new casting reel, originally I wanted a curado mgl 150 however now that I’ve come here I’ve realized that they only have the curado dc and also only in the 200 size, I definitely want to buy a reel because of how cheap they are here, im just not sure if the scorpion dc will fit good on my fenwick eagle( the one with the earthy green blank) but I’m also not sure if the curado dc 200 is too big, I mostly do bass fishing in Ontario and I throw lots of different lures front light to heavy so I’m very unsure please help if you’re knowledgeable.

For me, curado dc and it’s not close
They’re essentially the same reel platform so they’re not very different. I’d get the Scorpion DC 150 / 151. It’s a Curado but has the two extra handle knob bearings as well as a bushing at the bottom of the main shaft instead of a bearing (this is a good thing, that bearing always end up seized).
