Went in for hali near alamitos bay and was getting zero bites. So decided to make the 2 mile trip to the breakwall. Fish the open ocean side and got 2 nice bass and missed 2 other fish. One wrapped me around rocks and the other one was too big for my 30lb braid 20lb leader.
First sand bass is my PB it measured 19 inches. And put up an insane fight.
