Just inherited my grandfather's fishing gear. Two reels stood out as still in good condition but I want to give them a good maintenance overhaul. Is there a teardown tutorial for these models anywhere?
Serial numbers on the bottom are 057202 ('72) and 730402 ('73).
Is there anywhere to get replacement parts? The plastic handles are crumbling from deterioration.

For handles, look up Fishy Business, AKA Simon Shimomura on eBay. While Abu no longer makes parts for those, he reproduces a lot of factory parts and was actually contracted by Abu to build classic models until Sycamore Partners bought their parent company. He is known as Mr Ambassadeur and has written many books about these reels. If you don’t see what you need at his eBay store, send him an email and he will most likely have what you need.
Maintenance is fairly straight forward. It would be a good idea to get carbon drags from Smooth Drag to replace the leather drags in them now. Leather is a great drag material, but after 50 years they are sure to be worn. For cleaning, use mineral spirits and a toothbrush, it’ll remove any grime fairly easy. The black reel looks to be a 6000C, which will have spool bearings located in each end cap. Those are 3x10x4mm and readily available. McMaster Carr carries high quality NMB bearings, or I can sell you some as I keep a healthy supply.
