I have been trout fishing for a decade now and have used pretty much everything there is (except micetails) in the trout bait market.

A week ago when I was visiting my local Canadian Tire for a bug spray, I saw micetails and realized that I never used them before and thus decided to try them out.

But when I got to a lake and a river (both connected to each other), these micetails would just sink under the weight of #6 unbarbed hook. At first, I thought that this particular one must've been a defect but no, the rest in the sack are like that as well.

Either my bag was full of defects or Berkley needs to redesign these tails.

Safe to say I was very disappointed.
