I’ve kayaked some years ago, not fishing. The waters is be fishing in is Oslofjorden near Drøbak. Market in Norway is somewhat limited, but this one is 300-400usd so i figured this would be a cheap way to see if it scratches my itch.

I’ve been told by many guys to buy your second kayak first. Meaning buy the better kayak. The pedal driven or whatever fits your needs the most. I just bought my first fishing kayak and I’ve only taken it out once and it was awesome. Had a great time. My back wasn’t sore. I didn’t do a lot of paddling so my shoulders weren’t super sore either. Looking back, I wish I had spent the extra money on a real driven, just because you can fish and steer yourself at the same time
