I already have a Makaira 130 SEa II, LBS Makaira 80 (narrow), and a Penn Slammer IV 8500. I fly large baits out 300-700 yards using a SwellPro FD2 drone. Most LBSF will be in the Florida panhandle or southern Texas. This would be my last LBSF reel. I will probably get another spinning reel for other types of fishing in the future.
The 80 narrow is a topless design and has a line capacity of about 1,000 yards of 200-lb braid, whereas the 80W has a cross-bar design with a line capacity of 1,200 yards of 200-lb braid.
