I picked up this package at Walmart for some Pier Fishing and Bass Fishing. I have a spare Daiwa DS-3140 old reel and was wondering if it would be a better reel on this Rod for both? 7’ Rod Medium Heavy. Also Mono on both but considering putting on braid?
