I’ve been using my dad’s old zebco 33, and I want to upgrade and try something new. I saw this sale and was interested, but I don’t know too much about fishing brands. Should I buy this? If not, what are your other suggestions?

almost anything is better then a spincast. hell yeah man get it. I would recommend a spinning reel if your newer to fishing tho. it’s more versatile.

I really dislike the pre made combos they’re usually really cheaply made and won’t last long. But i recommend the Mach smash combo by lews my nephew has one and it’s super solid. They’re sometimes on sale for like 100$
