Context,
I have a rod from Kastking and the reel is also good but what if I bought a shimano SlX DC or a Shimano Curado DC, will those reels fit this baitcaster rod?
This rod is also medium heavy fast action which I presume is good for bass fishing. Just wanted to know because maybe I can use a dc baitcaster on this Kastking rod.

Shouldn’t be an issue. Only issue is if the foot on the reel isnt long enough for the reel seat to screw down on and get tight with. OR its a little too big and you have a problem getting it on. But if your buying a reel of comparable size you should be good
