I got spooled twice on my avet jx6.0 with 300yds of 100lb braid…I upgraded to the penn fathom II 40sd with 28lbs of drag and 400yds of 100lb line…with that being said I have stopped 6'bulls, tippers and 7'lemons with this reel. Let's hope that extra 100yds gives me enough line to turn the fishy around..
